Empower Wrestling Crowns New Tag Champs

I was invited to cover Empower Wrestling’s second show in Jersey City,NJ. This all womens promotion has some of the top independent wrestling’s talent. This show featured 6 matches that was live streamed on youtube and other major streaming platforms for fans to view. This show had a tag team match that resulted in crowning new tag team champions. In a hard fought battle the wiinners, The Platinum Hunnies, took the win but didn’t end in all smiles as Angel Sinclair was not happy and attacked her partner Ava Everett after the match.

Check out some of my favorite pictures from the show in the “Wrestling” Tab!

Shootout at Mill Street Studios

Yesterday I headed out to one of south jerseys premier studios for a shootout event. Always greeted by a friendly environment and easy to work with models. This event is setup to meet new people and network with other creatives from the south jersey and greater Philadelphia areas. That day I was able to photograph some awesome looks and work with new people, as well as working with friends like Gwen Collision [@gwen_collision] for part of the day that included some fun shots in the street as it closed down for a music festival that was in town. This presented a good opportunity I wanted to create and image that I had once seen done in south Philly.

The event had multiple sets in the studios, for example, 12 different backgrounds a few different stylish chairs and couches,as well as a bedroom set to photograph boudoir style photos. The very popular attraction to this shoot out was the beautiful yellow Dodge Viper that was located just outside to photograph.

Se some of the examples of everything I photographed in the just updated gallery’s. I would like to thank the team at mill street for always putting on a fun event and a safe environment for everyone to come together and create art.

Heading to Chicago for Starcast 3

Flying out from Philadelphia to Chicago to photograph some of All Elite Wrestling’s stars and wrestling legends like Jim Ross,Jerry “The King” Lawlor and Sting to new and rising stars of AEW like Jungle Boy,Luchasauras,Lucha Bros and Hangman Paige just to name a few. Being someone who grew up watching and enjoying professional wrestling and getting the opportunities to photograph these people with the amazing fans here at Starcast III is such a humbling experience.

Thursday consisted of meeting some amazing fans, getting to know the team i’m apart of as well as catching up with some old friends! We photographed for a few hours then went and got some food from ODB’s BBQ, which was amazing and if you get the chance, grab some! Some of the people we took care of were Hangman Paige of AEW.

Friday was a fun day, meeting tons of fans and doing some photos for Sting,Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King’ Lawlor, Jungle Boy and Luchasarus proved to be a busy day. Lots of moments were made for the fans of Starcast and AEW. I am so happy to be apart of this convention and everything more to come. Saturday photographing Phillip Brooks, better known as, CM Punk in the WWE and Mick Foley ,also of the WWE. Check back tomorrow for a photo gallery and some candid photos.

Getting cultural at Smithville Mansion

I was invited out to a collaboration photo shoot with some amazing creatives last weekend. Some amazing models fro southern new jersey that were dressed and styled in clothing from their homelands. When approached to do this created much excitment for me as i am a huge supporter of building each other up and just coming together as a whole,no matter what background. This was the most fun I have had all summer at a shoot, laughing and joking with everyone as I knew them for years. Nothing but great vibes, creating art,new friendships and working toward becoming better as a photographer myself, challenging myself in an environment i’m not used to.

Below is a small gallery of some of my favorite images from the day working with this awesome group! Enjoy!

Trip to Race St. Pier

Race St. Pier was a fun trip. Picked up a friend of mine and we headed out to south philly in the hopes of capturing some portraits at the scenic race st. pier under the Ben Franklin Bridge. We started by getting a few shots as soon as we got onto the pier and then headed to the end where we found a yoga class going on. We tried a few shots here and there but waited for the class to finish up before capturing one of my favorite photos of the summer thus far.

After capturing a great scenic portrait we worked on some posing and other looks on the pier before we were greet with a nice little sun shower and then a rainbow that transformed over the bridge. Was an amazing site and great end to a shoot. Looking forward to sharing more images from this shoot and future ones with Jaclyn.
